Job Title:                        Waking Nights Support Worker

Location:                        Worthing, West Sussex, BN14

Hours:                             37.5 hours per week

Salary:                            £8.80 per hour

What do our Support Workers do?

Supporting someone isn’t just personal care; it’s so much more!

18 Hawthorn Crescent is a fully adapted bungalow with four bedrooms. There are multiple communal areas so people can socialise with others if they wish including a living room, dining room and a kitchen. There is a large garden for people to access, where a lot of leisure and social events take place especially in the summer.

18 Hawthorn Crescent is located in Worthing within easy reach of the town centre, the sea front and a wide range of local community facilities including shops, pubs, restaurants, leisure centres and garden centres. The nearby mainline stations and local bus services provide good links to London and the surrounding coastal areas

As a Support Worker you will be helping to ensure the person we support is safe and living the life they want to lead. Day to day you could be assisting with the weekly shop, helping to administer the right medication or even supporting the person we support with an activity or a hobby they enjoy.

Our Support Workers are focused on active listening, meaningful engagement and ensuring people lead full, healthy and active lives.

 

What experience do you need?

You don’t need to have experience to be a good Support Worker. If you are caring, kind and want to work in a job that is genuinely rewarding, this is for you.

You’ll need to have great communication skills and be comfortable making decisions. A basic level of English and Math is also required.
