Job Title: Support Worker
Location: Spalding, PE11 1UF.
Hours: 42 hours per week
Salary: £8.80 per hour
Information: This role is shift work. Driver, full UK driving licence, is desired not essential.

What do our Support Workers do?
Supporting someone isn’t just personal care; it’s so much more.
Helena is service supporting individuals aged 17+ with learning disabilities, complex needs and autism spectrum conditions as part of a transitional model of support.
At Helena people lead very active lives and are supported in taking part in a wide range of activities that can help increase social and communication skills. This includes aqua fit, day centre activities, evening groups, bingo, gym sessions and swimming to name a few. The service also supports people in going on day trips such as going to the zoo, seaside and a recent trip in to London.
What experience do you need?
You don’t need to have experience to be a good Support Worker. If you are caring, kind and want to work in a job that is genuinely rewarding, this is for you.
You’ll need to have great communication skills and be comfortable making decisions. A basic level of English and Math is also required.
