Work with us!

Achieve together want you to have fun at work and make things happen for the people we support. We value everyone and we want brave people to help the people we support work towards achieving independence and reaching their goals. Achieve together is one of the UK’s leading providers of support for people with learning disabilities, autism and associated complex needs.

If this sounds great to you… Then you’re just what we’re looking for and we’d like to hear from you!

What do our Support Workers do?

Supporting someone isn’t just personal care; it’s so much more. Your duties will be varied and no two days will be the same.

Lilliputs Daycare Centre provides a fun, exciting play and learning area for adults and children with multiple learning disabilities. The service aims to provide a stimulating journey through activities which encourage independence and choice whilst ensuring each individual feels valued and safe.

As a Support Worker you will facilitate daytime activity session groups, lead outreach training within residential homes and supported living environments, and support access to community activities.

This day centre has a hydrotherapy pool, so if you can swim that would be an added bonus!

What experience do you need?

At Achieve together, we believe that a successful Support Worker doesn’t always have experience, but shares our vision to ensure that ‘every moment has potential’ for the people we support to learn new skills and to achieve their dreams.

Some experience as either a learning support or teaching assistant, or in special needs would be an added bonus, but we have a fantastic in-house training team who can help you along if you are taking your first steps in your career. If you are caring, kind and want to work in a job that is genuinely rewarding, this is for you.

You’ll need to have great communication skills and be comfortable making decisions. A basic level of English and Maths is also required.
