Job Title:                         Support Worker

Location:                         Westcliff-On-Sea, SS0 8BG.

Hours:                             37.5 hours per week

Salary:                             £8.80 per hour

What do our Support Workers do?

Supporting someone isn’t just personal care; it’s so much more.  

Cherrycroft is a 24-hour, residential service supporting adults aged 18+ with learning disabilities, autism spectrum conditions, complex needs, epilepsy and mental health needs.

Cherrycroft works to encourage and develop each person’s independence and autonomy within a group living setting. The importance of effective communication is central to the support provided to every person. We strive to support our residents to participate and plan a wide range of meaningful activities, building their role within their wider community.

What experience do you need?

You don’t need to have experience to be a good Support Worker. If you are caring, kind and want to work in a job that is genuinely rewarding, this is for you.

You’ll need to have great communication skills and be comfortable making decisions. A basic level of English and Math is also required.
