What do our Support Workers do?
Supporting someone isn’t just personal care; it’s so much more.
Withersfield Lodge is a supported living service for adults aged 30+ with learning disabilities, mental health needs, autism spectrum conditions and individuals with ADD and/or ADHD.
The people at Withersfield Lodge like to be out and about in the community, you can often see them at the seaside, zoo, at the theatre and on day trips to Blackpool. Individuals often go to the cinema to catch the newest releases and go to the local pub to unwind and socialise.
What experience do you need?
You don’t need to have experience to be a good Support Worker. If you are caring, kind and want to work in a job that is genuinely rewarding, this is for you.
You’ll need to have great communication skills and be comfortable making decisions. A basic level of English and Math is also required.
