Information: This role is shift work. Driver, full UK driving licence, is desired not essential
What do our Support Workers do?
Supporting someone isn’t just personal care; it’s so much more.
Park Road is a supported living service for people aged 17-40 yrs with learning disabilities, with a focus on developing further independent skills.
People at Park Road are supported to lead active lives, taking part in a range of social and leisure activities that build on social and communication skills as well as confidence. Leisure activities that people have been involved in include swimming, going to the gym, golf, trips to the beach, cinema and going out for meals.
What experience do you need?
You don’t need to have experience to be a good Support Worker. If you are caring, kind and want to work in a job that is genuinely rewarding, this is for you.
You’ll need to have great communication skills and be comfortable making decisions. A basic level of English and Math is also required.
