What do our Support Workers do?
Supporting someone isn’t just personal care; it’s so much more.
16 Hawthorn Crescent is a specially adapted bungalow in Worthing for males aged 18+ with moderate to severe learning disabilities, physical disabilities and complex health needs.
At 16 Hawthorn Crescent people are supported to access a range of leisure and domestic activities. These range from support in daily life skills such as shopping and cooking through to accessing further education, work placements and social and leisure activities in the community.
What experience do you need?
You don’t need to have experience to be a good Support Worker. If you are caring, kind and want to work in a job that is genuinely rewarding, this is for you.
You’ll need to have great communication skills and be comfortable making decisions. A basic level of English and Math is also required.
