We now have an exciting new opportunity for a Business Development Administrator to join our busy growth team.

What you'll be doing...

To deliver new development projects on time, as per each project plan, by providing effective administrative support to the Business Development Manager.

Key Responsibilities…

  • Coordinate each new development’s project mobilisation plan, ensuring you and relevant support function team members are completing tasks.
  • Manage the project meetings timetables/diaries sending invitations, agendas, minutes, and actions as required.
  • Input information on the organisational systems including new developments trackers, occupancy progress reports, and service maps/lists.
  • Liaise with any third parties including local planners, architects, contractors, or sub-contractors.
  • Liaise with the compliance team to ensure relevant health and safety checks are booked and recorded.
  • Liaise with the quality and operations teams to ensure communication with regulators and commissioners is managed effectively resulting in services being registered by CQC/CIW as per each project plan.
  • Organise site visits with brokers, agents, or operators as necessary.
  • Provide the marketing team, and assessment & placement managers with key information regarding each new development and update them on revised timings.
  • Complete monthly project tracking reports including actual project spends versus budgets/business cases using Microsoft Excel software.
  • Support your line manager with the completion of business case templates, investment memos, and board reports.
  • Assist your field-based line manager with general administrative tasks as and when requested.
  • Complete qualitative desk-based research and gather intel, such as local authorities market positioning statements, and supply/demand requirements of key stakeholders.

Experience required…

  • Proven track record of working in an administrative role or project management role in a senior capacity
  • Has a good demonstrable understanding of Microsoft Office 365 packages including Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

  • Planning and Organisation – able to use the best of Office 365 to help coordinate the delivery of multiple projects, and ‘good with lists of actions’ to work through.
  • Good communicator - in terms of using a variety of communication methods – doesn’t overly rely on sending emails.
  • Takes personal responsibility - uses initiative, does what is needed without being asked, and follows through.
  • Adaptable – able to switch focus between multiple projects and re-assess priorities based on project deliverables.
  • Resilient – able to manage a busy diary for self/line manager and edit diary invites based on the changing availability of attendees.
  • Team player - Ability to develop relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders (internal and external).
