About the people and their home

People at Maldon House enjoy doing the following activities: karaoke, arts and crafts, baking, in house mini games, Makaton Sessions, meal preparation, swimming, bike rides, going to the cinema, going to the theatre, health walks, farm trips, café trips, pub trips, going out for meals and to garden centres. We also like going on mini breaks and to theme parks.

We need support with personal care, arranging and attending appointments, ordering and administering medication and managing our finances. We also need support with our laundry and completing room cleans, as well as cooking and meal preparation.

Home achievements and people’s goals: being part of the community, having meaningful activities and living more independently. A support worker can enable us to reach our goals and help us live fulfilling lives.

About you

New to social care? That’s OK!  As long as you’re ready to learn, we provide full training to ensure you can provide the best possible support.

If you have the qualities and interests that align with people we support, we can’t wait for you to apply!
