Role Overview – Support Worker FLEXIBLE HOURS & EXCELLENT BENEFITS!!
We are seeking a Support Worker to make a real difference to the lives of our residents in Littleport who offer residential living to users who have mild to moderate learning difficulties. They require an individual who is conscientious and committed to delivering a high quality, person centred care and support service. Experience is not necessary as we support our staff with excellent training opportunities. It is equally important for us that you are approachable, caring and compassionate. This role offers two shift patterns of 7.30am – 2.30pm / 2pm – 10pm. This role does require driving and working weekends. Full time will be 39 hours per week and part time 25 hours per week. Waking night hours are also available.
A Support Worker will include:
- Delivering a high level of care and support for residents, ensuring their dignity and independence is maintained
- Providing support to residents to enable them to maximise their own potential and independence
- Assisting and encouraging residents to integrate into the community and become an active member
- Building strong working relationships with residents, their families/guardians and colleagues
Skills and experiences:
- Enthusiastic and flexible with a strong “can-do” attitude
- Strong organisational skills as well as functional literacy and numeracy
- Ability to react quickly to changing priorities whilst working to deadlines
