We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Lead Support Worker at this service supporting learning disabilities and associated health needs.

37.5 hours over 5 days, £9.13 per hour.

Vacancy Details

The people we support are at the heart of everything we do - they are wonderful individuals and deserve to be treated with respect, dignity and kindness. Our main priority, therefore, is to find staff with values, behaviours and attitudes to match our own.

Could this be you?

As a Lead Support Worker you will be expected to lead shifts and assist with coaching and inducting of new staff to the service. You will also be required to participate in the on call rota.  You will write daily reports on activities, as well as devising and updating care plans and undertaking risk assessments for the people we support.

Our services operate 24/7, so you will work in shifts (as allocated by your manager). This means you may need to work early mornings, late evenings, weekends and bank holidays. You may also be required to undertake sleep-in shifts on a rota basis.

The Ideal Candidate

We expect our Lead Support Workers to share our vision to ensure that ‘every moment matters'. Above all you need to be kind, caring and ready to work as a team to ensure that our services are comfortable, happy, fulfilling and safe places to live.

About The Company

We are a leading provider of care and support for adults with learning disabilities and associated complex needs, including autistic spectrum conditions, mental health needs, challenging behaviour, profound and multiple learning disabilities and epilepsy.

The people we support live in homely, family-like residences, and are encouraged to participate fully in the local community.
