£9.00 per hour

Day Shifts: 7am - 2:30pm, 2pm - 9:30pm

Wake night shifts (9pm - 7:30am)

What do our Support Workers do?

Supporting someone isn’t just personal care; it’s so much more. As a Forensic Mental Health Support Worker you could be supporting individuals with swimming, assisting with the weekly shop, or even helping to administer the right medication.

Our specialist Supported Living service in Oxford provides 24-hour high relational support and rehabilitation for vulnerable adults with mental health issues. 

The position involves supporting individuals who have a criminal background in addition to diagnosis of mental health disorders and associated complex needs such as personality disorder, and associated challenging behaviours. We deal with the holistic approach with all the People we Support. Our Forensic Mental Health Support Workers are focused on active listening, meaningful engagement and ensuring people lead full, healthy and active lives.

What experience do you need?

It is essential for candidates to have experience as a Mental Health Support Worker and it is ideal to have forensic experience.

 Skills Required

  • Adapt to new situations and read others efficiently
  • Able to work calmly and efficiently within a busy and intensive environment dealing with unpredictable situations
