Description

Job Title:                         Waking Night Support Worker

Service:                           Arundel House 

Location:                         Frinton-On-Sea, CO13 9BE.

Hours:                             35

Salary:                             £8.80

Information:                   This role is night work. Sleeping on shift is not permitted. 

 

What do our Support Workers do?

Supporting someone isn’t just personal care; it’s so much more.  

Arundel House is a residential living service that supports adults aged 50+ with autism spectrum conditions, learning disabilities, complex needs including behaviours that may challenge, restricted mobility, sight/hearing impairment and dementia.

The people living at Arundel House have a range of different activities they can participate in including Creative Mojo sessions, Music & Movement sessions, Cadows Day centre, cookery in house, cinema evenings, gardening, games nights, karaoke,  day visits to Colchester ZOO, bowling, cinema trips, theatre trips, concerts and days out to Colchester lakeside.

 

What experience do you need?

You don’t need to have experience to be a good Support Worker. If you are caring, kind and want to work in a job that is genuinely rewarding, this is for you.

You’ll need to have great communication skills and be comfortable making decisions. A basic level of English and Math is also required.
