Location: Bowermount Road – Maidstone, ME16 8AT.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £8.80 per hour

What do our Support Workers do?
Supporting someone isn’t just personal care; it’s so much more.
Bowermount Road is a supported living service for individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism spectrum conditions in the transition period from residential homes, foster care or a family home into more independent living.
At Bowermount Road there are a lot of activities for individuals to get involved with. Maidstone is only a 10 minute bus journey away, so people can easily go into the town centre and access community facilities such as shops, restaurants, the cinema and day centres. Additionally people have been involved with gardening, swimming, arts and crafts and learning independence skills such as cooking.
What experience do you need?
You don’t need to have experience to be a good Support Worker. If you are caring, kind and want to work in a job that is genuinely rewarding, this is for you.
You’ll need to have great communication skills and be comfortable making decisions. A basic level of English and Math is also required.
