What do our Support Workers do?

Supporting someone isn’t just personal care; it’s so much more. As a Support Worker you could be supporting individuals with swimming, assisting with the weekly shop, or even helping to administer the right medication.

Winchester House, ME12 3NS is within walking distance of a local newsagent, post office and chemist and other shops and food outlets are five minutes’ drive away. Minster Beach is just over a mile away and offers good walking areas along the sea front.

The Isle of Sheppey is close to Sittingbourne, the Medway Towns and Maidstone. There is a local bus route with a stop just outside of Winchester House and the railway station in Sheerness is approximately three miles away.

What experience do you need?

You don’t need to have experience to be a good Support Worker. If you are caring, kind and want to work in a job that is genuinely rewarding, this is for you.

You’ll need to have great communication skills and be comfortable making decisions. A basic level of English and Math is also required.
