Information: This role is shift work. Driver, full UK driving licence, is desired not essential
What do our Support Workers do?
16 Hawthorn Crescent is a specially adapted bungalow in Worthing for males aged 18+ with moderate to severe learning disabilities, physical disabilities and complex health needs.
Our services operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and many of the people we support require support during the night.
You will be expected to ensure people are supported to gain a good night’s sleep, monitoring any concerns in relation to disturbed sleep patterns and follow relevant support plans designed to promote sleep and wellbeing.
You will focus on ensuring the environment at night is safe and contributes to ensuring people are comfortable at night.
What experience do you need?
You don’t need to have experience to be a good Support Worker. If you are caring, kind and want to work in a job that is genuinely rewarding, this is for you.
You’ll need to have great communication skills and be comfortable making decisions. A basic level of English and Math is also required.
