We are seeking a mature, experienced female support worker that has the ability to adapt well in any challenging setting.

Pen Y Hill is a specialist residential service providing 24-hour support for adults aged 18+ with physical and learning disabilities, complex health needs, epilepsy, diabetes and communication and sensory impairments.

Individuals are supported to develop individualised and accessible person centred plans that promote increased choice, control over their lives and independence skills. Every aspect of a person’s life is seen as a potential learning opportunity, and staff will work closely with the individual, family members and health care professionals in order to help people achieve their goals. People are supported to take part in meaningful activities and engage with the wider community in order to increase social and communication skills as well as confidence.

Our Support Workers are focused on active listening, meaningful engagement and ensuring people lead full, healthy and active lives.

What experience do you need?

Level 2 in Health and Social care and a basic level of English and Math is required.
