We have an exciting opportunity for a Waking Night Support Worker to join our brand new spacious Supported Living Service which consists of six individually accessible flats based in Aberdare. We provide support to individuals with learning disabilities, enduring mental health needs and social difficulties.

We are seeking a mature, experienced female waking night support worker that has the ability to adapt well in any challenging setting.

Could this be you?

Our services operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and many of the people we support require support during the night.

You will be expected to ensure people are supported to gain a good night’s sleep, monitoring any concerns in relation to disturbed sleep patterns and follow relevant support plans designed to promote sleep and wellbeing.

You will focus on ensuring the environment at night is safe and contributes to ensuring people are comfortable at night.

Your shifts will be allocated on a rota basis, and will include weekends and bank holidays as required.

Please note our Waking Night Support Workers are required to remain awake and vigilant throughout their night shift, even breaks.  You will be required to check on residents as required by their care plans, and provide any support needed.  Sleeping on duty is not permitted at any time.
