New to care or experienced? Join our bank of Support Workers in Preston. You’ll be based in Preston with a friendly team, supporting people who are deaf or deaf/blind and have a range of support needs, including learning disabilities and autism

Preston, Lancashire - PR2

£8.91 per hour

Due to the size of the area that you will cover and supporting people in supported living, you will need your own transport with business insurance - excellent milleage rates are paid.

  

Your new job:

You will be working as part of a friendly team. Supporting vulnerable individuals who are deaf, have dual sensory loss as well as experiencing a learning disability, mental health difficulties and or autism. As a Relief Support Worker you will play a vital part in  providing a peripatetic service to people living in the surrounding areas, offering educational and work-focused opportunities for adults who are deaf, hard of hearing or with dual-sensory loss and additional needs.

This may include: 

  • Completing and maintaining detailed records, reports and notes   
  • Cleaning, cooking and shopping  
  • Planning and engaging in activities  
  • Administering and recording medication  
  • Complying with health and safety requirements

You do not need to have experience to join our team of Bank Support Workers, although a basic level of English and Maths is required. We employ our Bank Team Members based on their values.
