Description

Whether you're new to care or experienced, you'll be making a world of difference when you join us as a Support Worker at Achieve together.

Working at Grange Court will enable you to obtain specialist training (PBS) which is a recognised way of supporting people who display, or are at risk of displaying, behaviours which challenge.

PBS focuses on  environments that are supportive and capable of meeting people's needs, and teaching people new skills to replace the behaviours which challenge, this will enable you to feel confident in your role and support you to progress working with a specialist environment.

Location: Trowbridge, Wiltshire, BA14

Contract: Permanent, Full and part time positions available  

Salary: £9.50 per hour

Your new job: Support workers treat everyone equally and with the dignity and respect they deserve: you’ll play a vital part in providing support that improves the ability to manage daily tasks and enable people to experience independent living and decision making.  

Your role is to:   

  • Support people in achieving their goals and ambitions
  • Planning and engaging in activities such as visiting the zoo, going to the theme park, spa visits and going to the cinema
  • Full personal care required
  • You will support physical and verbal behaviours that will challenege. Special training is provided and full protective equipment is given
  • Follow Health and Safety Guidelines & Procedures - Keeping yourself and others safe.
