Are you looking for permanent part time work as a Support Worker in the Ilkeston area? Yes, then come and join us today.  We are offering part time hours on a flexible shift pattern.  You really do not need to have any previous experience within care as we will give you all of the training and support that you need to become a fabulous support worker.  What you will need is to be a kind, caring and patient person who loves to spend time with people.

What does a support worker do?  No two days ever look the same.  You’ll be supporting people with anything and everything including; personal care, arts and crafts, gardening, shopping, cooking, cleaning, attending appointments, activities in the community, going on holiday or even just going out for a walk and grabbing a cuppa.  You could think of it as less of a job and more of just supporting someone with their day to day life!

Location: Churchview and Larklands, Ilkeston, DE7 5PA

Contract: Permanent Part Time, flexible hours and shift patterns

Hourly Rate: £8.91

Additional information: Situated in the attractive Derbyshire market town of Ilkeston, this lovely home consists of two bungalows, nestling side by side in their own attractive gardens. These purpose-built homes allow for the highest care and support to be provided for ten adults with profound learning and physical disabilities.

You do not need to have experience to be a Support Worker, although a basic level of English and Maths is required. We employ our Support Workers based on their values.
