Whether you're new to care or experienced, you'll be making a world of difference when you join us as a Support Worker at Achieve together.

Join us as a Support Worker at Stafford Lodge in Berrow which is a residential specialist service providing support for adults aged 18-35 with Autism and Learning disabilities. The service has 4 bedrooms and 1 self-contained flat, with a games room, sensory garden, and conservatory space.  

Located in the seaside town of Berrow and it is a 5-minute walk from the seafront, as well as the town centre which has a vast array of amenities including shops, pubs, and restaurants. 

The nearest train station is in Highbridge which is 2 miles away. 

Location: Berrow, Burnham-on-Sea, TA8 

Permanent full and part-time positions available   

Pay: £9.50

Your new job: Support workers treat everyone equally and with the dignity and respect they deserve: you’ll play a vital part in providing support that improves the ability to manage daily tasks and enable people to experience independent living and decision making.  

Your role is to:   

  • Support people in achieving their goals and ambitions
  • Make a positive contribution to the lives of others
  • Planning and engaging in activities such as meals out, horse riding, cinema visits, supporting individuals with their volunteer work, visiting theme parks, arts and crafts, garden activities, gym, college, swimming and supporting holidays 
  • Prompting personal care  
  • Supporting complex physical and verbal behaviours that can be challenging, specialist training will be provided along with relevant debrief and support given
