Whether you're new to care or experienced, you'll be making a world of difference when you join us as a Support Worker at Achieve together.

Kings Road is a small and friendly 6 bed residential service. We provide support to individuals with Autism, Down Syndrome, Mental Health, OCD, Anxieties, Epilepsy, Diabetes, ADHD, Smith-Magenis Syndrome and Associated Learning Disabilities.

Kings Road is an active service that supports adults to visit the Zoo, go swimming and the gym, visiting the shops and even going on holiday.

Location: Lee-on-the-Solent, Hampshire,

Contract: Full time and part time

Rate:  £9.50phr

Your new job: Support workers treat everyone equally and with the dignity and respect they deserve: you’ll play a vital part in providing support that improves the ability to manage daily tasks and enable people to experience independent living and decision making.  

Your role is to:   

  • Support people in achieving their goals and ambitions
  • Supporting individuals with activities such as picnics, walks, riding bicycles, swimming, days out to places such as theme parks, knitting, arts and crafts, gardening and baking.
  • Supporting individuals with personal care
  • Supporting behaviours that may challenge
  • Make a positive contribution to the lives of others
  • Follow Health and Safety Guidelines & Procedures - Keeping yourself and others safe.
