Description

Whether you're new to care or experienced, you'll be making a world of difference when you join us as a Support Worker at Achieve together.

Join us at Mays Lane, Fareham, which is a 5 bed residential service for individuals with Sensory impairments, epilepsy, PICA, Autism, Down Syndrome, mild, severe and profound learning disabilities. 

Location: Fareham, Stubbington, PO14

Contract / Shifts available: Full time and part time

Rate:  £9.50phr

Your new job: Support workers treat everyone equally and with the dignity and respect they deserve: you’ll play a vital part in providing support that improves the ability to manage daily tasks and enable people to experience independent living and decision making.  

Your role is to:   

  • Completing and maintaining detailed records, reports and notes    
  • Completing full personal care 
  • Supporting verbal and physical behaviours that can challenge 
  • Planning and engaging in activities such as meals, snacks and drinks out, day trips to the zoo or local attractions. Swimming and cinema. Trips on trains, boats or other public transport. Local walks or visits to the beach 
  • Administering and recording medication   
  • Complying with health and safety requirement
