Description

Whether you're new to care or experienced, you'll be making a world of difference when you join us as a Waking Nights Support Worker at Achieve together.

Weslyan Court is a highly specialised 24/7 supported living service located in the heart of one of Staffordshire’s finest market towns. A short walk from amenities, this service is made up of 8 self-contained flats set across 2 blocks of 4 apartments. The building itself is a refurbished church and school with its own outside space, creating separate gardens as well as an open communal area.

Each apartment can be fully customised to accommodate an individual’s needs, on a completely bespoke basis. This could involve installing sound-proofed walls, or creating calming rooms with safety padding with reduced visual and auditory stimuli present.

Here, we support people aged 18-65 who require a high level of support, but are ready to take the next step towards independence in their community. Weslyan supports the transferring care agenda  which encourages community-based support for those who have been discharged from secure settings, including long-stay hospitals.
