Description

Whether you're new to care or experienced, you'll be making a world of difference when you join us as a Support Worker at Achieve together.

Join us at Grange Court were we support adults with autism and other health needs. Working at Grange Court will enable you to obtain specialist training (PBS) which is a recognised way of supporting people who display, or are at risk of displaying, behaviours which challenge.

Grange Court is a person centered service that encourages the individuals to be part of community events, helps them learn new skills and supports them with activities such as going to the gym, swimming, visiting the pub, day trips out or going on holidays.

Location: Trowbridge, Wiltshire, BA14

Contract / Shifts available: Full time and part time

Rate:  £9.80phr

We are also recruiting in our nearby services Durlston House and Durlston Lodge.

Your new job: Support workers treat everyone equally and with the dignity and respect they deserve: you’ll play a vital part in providing support that improves the ability to manage daily tasks and enable people to experience independent living and decision making.  

Your role is to:   

  • Support people in achieving their goals and ambitions
  • Planning and engaging in activities such as visiting the zoo, going to the theme park, spa visits and going to the cinema
  • Full personal care required
  • You will support physical and verbal behaviours that will challenege. Special training is provided and full protective equipment is given
  • Follow Health and Safety Guidelines & Procedures - Keeping yourself and others safe.
