Description

Whether you're new to care or experienced, you'll be making a world of difference when you join us as a Support Worker at Achieve together.

Join us at Telegraph Road, Southampton, which is a 4 bed residential home supporting adults aged 18+, with autism, epilepsy, learning disabilities, restricted mobility, severe learning disabilities, sight impairment, dementia , dysphagia, cerebral palsy and downs syndrome. 

Telegraph is a service that promotes independence and encourages the adults to be part of the community and to do lots of nice activities like swimming, baking, going to the gym and other fun things.

Location: West End, Southampton, S030 

Contract: Full time and part time

Rate:  £9.50phr

Your new job: Support workers treat everyone equally and with the dignity and respect they deserve: you’ll play a vital part in providing support that improves the ability to manage daily tasks and enable people to experience independent living and decision making.  

Your role is to:   

  • Support people in achieving their goals and ambitions
  • Planning and engaging in activities such as cooking, going to the gym, swimming and going to the cinema
  • Make a positive contribution to the lives of others
  • Prompting and/or supporting personal care
