Woodlands is a residential service supporting adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs and other complex needs. The home is situated within a small established community on the edge of the Tamar Valley in Gunnislake, East Cornwall. 

Location: Gunnislake, Cornwall, PL18 

Contract: Permanent full and part time positions available

Salary: £9.50phr

Your new job: Support workers treat everyone equally and with the dignity and respect they deserve: you’ll play a vital part in providing support that improves the ability to manage daily tasks and enable people to experience independent living and decision making.  

Your role is to:   

  • Support people in achieving their goals and ambitions
  • Supporting individuals with activities such as going on walks, gardening, arts and crafts, pub lunches etc...
  • Supporting individuals with personal care
  • Supporting behaviours that may challenge
  • Make a positive contribution to the lives of others
  • Follow Health and Safety Guidelines & Procedures - Keeping yourself and others safe.
