Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Digital Marketing Manager to join our community hub team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the organisation's core operations and ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver digital marketing activity in line with the group marketing strategy, including SEO/SEM, PPC, and social media.
- Manage the organisation’s website, keeping content accurate, compliant, and up to date, and improving usability and performance.
- Build and manage social media channels by creating and scheduling engaging, on-brand content.
- Monitor social media and respond to comments or mentions when needed.
- Plan and deliver digital content, including video and photography, working with internal teams and managing timelines.
- Make sure safeguarding measures and consent are in place for all digital marketing activity involving the people we support.
- Keep information accurate and up to date across external online directories.
- Track and report on digital marketing performance and use results to improve future activity.
- Identify opportunities to improve results and the overall digital user experience.
- Maintain good practice in digital marketing, accessibility, compliance, and brand consistency.
- Manage and work with external agencies and suppliers to deliver work on time and within budget.
- Stay up to date with digital trends and share ideas and recommendations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a Digital Marketing Manager role.
- Experience planning and improving digital campaigns, ideally in regulated or values-based sectors such as social care, health, or public services.
- Strong experience managing SEO/SEM, PPC, and social media in an ethical and compliant way.
- Experience setting up and managing Google Ads campaigns, including budgets and performance.
- Good knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, and using data to improve results.
- Experience creating campaigns that build trust and explain complex or sensitive information clearly.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and project management skills.
- Hands-on experience using digital marketing tools such as CRM systems, WordPress, social media scheduling tools, and marketing automation platforms.
- Knowledge of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, SEO, and website management.
- Experience improving landing pages and user journeys.
- Ability to use creative tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva, with a focus on accessibility and inclusive design.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent attention to detail.
