Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Marketing and Communications Executive to join our community hub team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the organisation's core operations and ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of services.

Key Responsibilities:

Digital Marketing 

  • Support the ongoing maintenance and optimisation of the website, ensuring content accuracy, brand consistency and adherence to SEO best practice. 
  • Assist in the delivery of the social media content plan, including content creation, scheduling and community monitoring. 
  • Track and report on digital performance metrics, providing insight and recommendations to support continuous improvement.

Events  

  • Provide operational and administrative support for the planning and delivery of corporate, industry and internal events. 
  • Coordinate event logistics, supplier communications and materials preparation, ensuring smooth execution and on-the-day support.

Marketing Literature & Content 

  • Collaborate with operational and marketing colleagues to gather content and develop on-brand marketing materials, including case studies, flyers and brochures. 
  • Support the creation and refresh of marketing collateral to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and key messaging. 
  • Assist in sourcing and shaping impactful stories that demonstrate the organisation’s values and outcomes. 

Internal Communications 

  • Support the delivery of internal communications activity, including uploading content to internal platforms and assisting with campaigns and engagement initiatives. 
  • Contribute to the coordination of internal events and communications that inform and engage colleagues.

Photography, Videography & Asset Management 

  • Coordinate photography and videography activity, including booking shoots and liaising with stakeholders and suppliers. 
  • Organise, proof and maintain a structured library of visual assets. 
  • Support the distribution and upload of approved visual content across digital channels. 

Design & Production 

  • Produce print and digital materials using approved brand templates and guidelines. 
  • Liaise with external printers and suppliers to ensure quality, accuracy and timely delivery of materials. 
  • Create digital assets to support website, social media and advertising activity under guidance from marketing leads.

Marketing Administration 

  • Supporting with minute taking, ordering, event management and attendance and other ad hoc duties.

Requirements:

  •  A bachelor’s degree and/or qualifications in marketing/communications or experience within a marketing role. 
  • An understanding of digital marketing and social media marketing. 
  • Self-starter with a can-do attitude. 
  • Confident talking with people and building relationships. 
  • Proactive, organised and able to prioritise multiple projects and tasks. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft software and willingness to learn and use other digital marketing platforms including social media and email. 
  • Experience using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Cloud. 
  • Knowledge of the care sector or similar regulated industries is desirable.
